Data controller

The controller of your personal data is the Professional online English-language school. We determine the purposes and means of processing your data and are responsible for protecting it. Current contact details for enquiries are provided on this page and in the site footer.

What data we collect

We collect only the data you provide voluntarily, together with the technical data required for the website to function:

• data from the enquiry form: name, contact details (phone, email or messenger) and, optionally, the text of your message;
• anonymised technical analytics data (device type, pages viewed) without identifying the individual and without advertising cookies.

Purposes and legal basis for processing

We process your data for the following purposes:

• handling your enquiry, providing feedback and advising you about our courses;
• providing educational services and organising the learning process;
• improving the website on the basis of anonymised statistics.

The legal basis for processing is your consent, which you give by submitting the form (Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" and Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and operability of the website.

Retention period

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes: enquiry data — for up to 24 months from the last interaction or until consent is withdrawn; data of enrolled students — for the duration of their studies and a reasonable period after their completion, in accordance with the requirements of the law. Once the retention period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Transfer of data to third parties

We do not sell your data. To provide our services, we engage trusted providers (processors) who process data on our behalf:

• Resend — delivery of enquiry messages by email;
• Telegram — delivery of enquiry messages to the messenger;
• Vercel — website hosting and anonymised visit analytics.

Some providers may process data outside Ukraine and the EU (in particular, in the USA). In such cases, the transfer is carried out with the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR (in particular, standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine No. 2297-VI and the GDPR, you have the right:

• to access your personal data;
• to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
• to erase your data (the "right to be forgotten");
• to restrict processing;
• to object to processing;
• to withdraw your consent at any time;
• to data portability to another controller.

To exercise your rights, send a request to our email address. We will review your enquiry within the period prescribed by law.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) and, if you are located in the EU, with the relevant national data protection supervisory authority.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies and anonymised, privacy-friendly analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies and do not share data with advertising networks, so a cookie consent banner is not required.

Children's data

We run classes for children, but enquiries are submitted by parents or legal guardians. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data without parental consent. If you believe that a child has provided us with data without such consent, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the effective date indicated.
